As the weather gets warm, give in to that primal urge that has been resting all winter: fire up that grill! No matter what you like to eat, the taste of barbecue is undeniably linked to many of your best (and tastiest) summer memories. Before you dust off the grill and lug it to your favorite spot, stop by your library for some great books to
inspire your inner chef. Here are some recommendations from our librarians:
Asian Grilling: 85 Kebobs, Skewers, Satays and Other Asian-Inspired Recipes for Your Barbecue
Al Roker’s Big Bad Book of Barbecue: 100 Easy Recipes for Backyard Barbecue and Grilling
The Barbecue! Bible
Born to Grill: An American Celebration
Grilled to Perfection: License to Grill
Mediterranean Grilling: More than 100 Recipes from Across the Mediterranean
And just in case the weather isn't all it's cracked up to be, check out this great piece on "indoor grilling" from the Times.
