Veggie Conscious

I’ll admit it: I’m not a vegetarian, but sometimes I pretend to be one. Some days I just have to have a good hamburger, and other times I want meat far from my plate. My mother always said I was a picky eater. Luckily, the staff here at Brooklyn Public Library can also be accused of such. When asked to pick the borough’s best vegetarian restaurant, they offered lots of choices, and even more specific reasons for them. So, now I have some great options for those wild nights that I masquerade as a veggie eater. Take a look:

Red Bamboo (Fort Greene)

“The food is delicious, ambience is eclectic and the atmosphere is relaxed.”

“Cozy, but plenty of seating, great cocktails and to-die-for veggie meat dishes that even meat lovers love.”

Vegetarian Palate (Park Slope)

“Their tofu is delicious in any entrée and they have the best spring rolls.”

 V-Spot (Park Slope)

“Not boring and good flavors.”
