Darren Aronofsky, acclaimed director of the award-winning 2008 movie, The Wrestler, and writer and director of Oscar-nominated Requiem for a Dream, was born and raised in Brooklyn, and still lives here today. While he's currently working on a new RoboCop movie, he still takes time out from his schedule to read; following are a few of his all-time favorite books that he recently shared with us:

Favorite Children's Books

The Arrival by Shaun Tan

The Lorax by Dr. Seuss

Stone Soup by Jon J. Muth
