Keep forgetting when your books are due? Need to know when your holds arrive, but you’re on the go? Don’t worry. Text messaging from Brooklyn Public Library is here!
Starting today, you can sign up to receive library notices by text message. We’ll text you about the holds you’ve placed, as well as reminders when your items are due or have become past due.
Text messaging from Brooklyn Public Library is free (standard rates apply), and it’s easy to
sign up. Just log on to the My Account page of our website, click Modify Personal Info, and then select “Text Message” as the way you’d like to receive notices from the library.
Just do us a favor: Don’t fall down any manholes while you’re reading our texts.
