When he isn’t recruiting young, paparazzi-addled starlets for his perennially popular television program, “The Apprentice,” Donald-The Don-Trump can be found reading about the art of war. Really! And like any good business warrior will tell you, the first rule of promotion is to promote yourself; thus, when we asked Mr. Trump for his favorite summertime books, he included a title of his very own: “The Art of the Deal” (hint: he doesn’t do it for the money!). Check out that one and all the others by visiting your nearest BPL neighborhood location, and learn a thing or two from a true New York icon.
Favorite Summer Book for Children:
The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
For Adults:
The Art of War, Sun Tzu
Team of Rivals: the Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, Doris Kearns Goodwin
The Last Lion: Winston Spencer Churchill, William Manchester
